Coração Factory
With its tragic and unmistakable heart, beating since 1928, this is one of the great classic Portuguese products. However, it was a German man, Albrecht Loeb, the founder of the company, who chose the symbol, to match his perception of a very Latin and sentimental people. Throughout the years and generations, the heart embellished several cleansing powders, wire brushes, ink for fabrics, baking powder and metal products (such as paper clips and pins), but the excellent metal polish remained the factory’s flagship product. Its unique formula includes abrasive powder for polishing, detergent for cleaning, and olefin, which leaves an extremely fine layer of grease that protects the shine for approximately two months. As it satisfies the most demanding customers, it is widely used on boats and lighthouses.
