About the exhibition:
"The Lisbon Museum has a vast collection of tiles, which, due to the number, variety and quality of the specimens, asserts itself as one of the most important in the country, consisting mainly of tiles from demolished or refurbished buildings, buildings in ruins or archaeological interventions.

With the objective of making such an important collection known, the present exhibition, curated by José Meco, one of the most renowned specialists in this area, seeks to show some of the best examples of the collection of the Museum of Lisbon in a diachronic perspective, from the 16th century to the present , exhibiting examples, both indoor and outdoor, representing different styles and features."
