A Blackbird, evidently | Laboratório d'Estórias

An old tradition says blackbirds take away people's souls in their beak, precisely the opposite of what storks do, but that is not what we are going to talk about. It is about something much deeper, about things that we suspect could jump from the clay, from the ground, and start to fly, as if they were ideas. Besides several stories about blackbirds, including a modernist painter who became famous by explaining all his works in the same way, with the enigmatic sentence "it's a blackbird, evidently", there will also be a reference to birds able to do miracles and, at the same time, lead someone to the most radical unbelief. But most of all, there will be magic blackbirds, birds anyone will be able to keep at home, just for the decor, or for the admirable task to make them fly, just by feeding them genuine hope and imagination.
