Gladiolus italicum

Ornamental Perennial bulbous plant whose floral stem can reach about 80 cm. Frequent in the Center and South of Portugal, where it is still possible to find huge wild populations. Its incredible flowers, of brilliant pink and magenta tones, appear between March and June. Adaptable to different types of soil, it prefers places with good sun exposure and does not require any special care. In winter it withstands low temperatures well. An essential plant in any kind garden.
