The new series of fado files follows with a disc dedicated to maria alice, with the first fado for her written, in the studios of valentim de carvalho. of the of  twenty fados presented original recordings from the label brunswick, the first nineteen refer, in each original disc such as place and date: Lisbon, 1929. The last fate here presented, the watermill, was, however, recorded two years later, in lisbon in 1931. mary alice, who would later marry his own valentim de carvalho, was one of the most recorded at this early stage of the commercial recording in portugal.
