Blandy’s Madeira Wine since 1811. Two centuries and seven generations of producing excellent wine. Blandy is distinguished by being the only family, of all the original founders of the Madeira wine trade, that still owns and manages its own wine company.

VINIFICATION: Blandy’s Bual 10 years ferments with natural yeasts at a temperature of 18°C ​​to 21°C in with wine alcohol (96% v/v), in order to maintain the desired natural sugar content.

AGEING: This wine is a blend with wines of an average age of 10 years of aging in oak casks. oak according to the traditional ‘Canteiro’ process, in the centuries-old Blandy cellars.

VINEYARDS: Predominantly on the south coast of Madeira Island between Ribeira Brava and Calheta.

TASTING NOTES: Crystalline in color, amber with golden reflections. Complex, great aromatic intensity, revealing a bouquet of dried fruits, such as figs and plums, with notes of almonds and wood, subtly completed by caramel and vanilla. On the palate it is sumptuous; Medium sweet and very soft, with a perfect balance of acidity, coffee and fruit. Pleasant and persistent aftertaste.
