Jug in red, yellow, or blue with handle and nozzle. The interior is white in color and lends itself to bringing all kinds of liquid to the table. The exterior is in geometric-inspired reliefs, with stripes from top to bottom and glaze by hand. It integrates the line Secla Vintage, a re-edition of pieces produced between the decades of 1950 and 1970.
Established in 1947 in Caldas da Rainha, a city with a long tradition of ceramics, Secla was an innovative company since the beginning, having a modern production and giving priority to design. Its founder, Joaquim Pinto Ribeiro, had a habit of challenging plastic artists and architects to explore ideas in unique pieces and small series. The factory closed in 2008 but A Vida Portuguesa continues to sell some models reproduced from originals of the 50-60. Mugs, milk jugs and jugs, as modern as yesterday.
