Portalegre's Egg Candy is made out of egg and sugar. It was created in the convents of this region (Alentejo) several centuries ago. The Candy Factory where they are produced combines the traditional recipe with the modern requirements and the final result is a treat that remains true to its origins and craft while guaranteeing its quality, appearance and flavour over time. The Egg Candy is available in an elegant tin, individually wrapped in tissue paper, melts in the mouth and is delicious with coffee. A perfect present.
