Developed by the design studio of A Vida Portuguesa and practical for any time of year, this lightweight paper fan combines two patterns reproduced from Portuguese printed chintz designs from the Pereira de Sampaio Collection. Like British chintz, Portuguese chintz was inspired by Indian prints that arrived in Europe in the 16th century, developing a history full of floral motifs and, almost always, an exotic touch.
