In 1918, Emílio da Silva Braga founded on Rua Nova do Almada that that would come to be regarded by that time one of the best stationary shops of the city. It sold notebooks suitable for accurate accounting, as well as legal and commercial uses. Almost a century later, the Emilio Braga Lda. is now in the hands of the fourth generation and continues to manufacture their most emblematic models.
