A Vida Portuguesa at MoMA Design Store

As A Vida Portuguesa marks its 18th anniversary, we’re excited to make our U.S. debut with an exclusive Pop-Up at MoMA Design Store in New York City — at their Soho and Midtown locations and online — opening January 8th through March 10th.

MoMA Design Store seeks out artists, designers and manufacturers all over the globe, selecting objects that meet carefully considered design criteria. MoMA Design Store supports The Museum of Modern Art’s mission of educating the public about modern art and Good Design and its the only place in the world where everything is approved by MoMA curators — the same experts responsible for what’s on view in the Museum.

For ten weeks, A Vida Portuguesa will bring the essence of Portugal to New York, with dedicated spaces at MoMA Design Store’s Soho location and Midtown store on 53rd Street, located across from the Museum. Since our founding, we've been committed to celebrating the originality and quality of Portuguese-made products, and now, we’re proud to share this passion on an international stage.  

In collaboration with MoMA Design Store, we’ve created a pioneering pop-up concept that reflects who we are. Each item in the assortment tells its own story, offering a unique chance to experience the spirit of Portugal in New York for a limited time.
